books and hps.
hey. i'm a fan of sony ericsson phones. i still remember my first handphone was a crappy motorola t191 and i hated it. it was so hard to use and the buttons were so hard to press because they were so small. then i got a t68i 2 years ago (i think) for christmas and fell in love with it. easy to use, hardy, reliable, and looks great. so this time i got another sony ericsson phone when the t68i finally bowed out of the ring and surrendered. maybe it was my fault. who knows. the t610 i have now looks great and is easy to use, but i dunno about hardy and reliable yet. hope it is.anyway. i read sometime ago in a roald dahl book, 'danny the champion of the world' or something like that if i'm not wrong, that when someone smiles at you, you have to look at that person's eyes and if there's no twinkle or merry spark in his/her eyes, chances are that the smile isn't genuine. its true actually. so from young since i read that book, i have a habit of looking at peoples' eyes more than their mouths, as mouths can be tricked into smiling, but eyes can't be tricked into twinkling.
speaking of books. let me talk more about my favourite author, david eddings. i still love his books although his stories are good but not really fantastic. its because he has this special way of making a book character feel like a real person with his own mannerisms, characteristics and lovableness, so at the end of the whole book, you simply can't bear to leave all these people behind as you close the book.
lets not forget his dry and witty humour that doesn't try too hard to be funny, but is even funnier as a result. i love his understated jokes and the constant friendly bickering among characters that he's so good at scripting.
did i forget to say it? i do love roald dahl's stories too.
i think i've written enough already. doubt any of you will bother to read it anyway. see ya.
